INDIVIDUAL NUTRITION COUNSELING
I specialize in helping individuals recover from eating disorders, emotional eating, and negative body image. I provide one-on-one nutrition counseling for adults and adolescents with binge eating disorder (BED), bulimia nervosa (BN), anorexia nervosa (AN), other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSFED), avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), orthorexia, compulsive exercise, chronic dieting, as well as eating disorders and body image issues during pregnancy and the perinatal period.
Bottom line: If food feels hard, I can help. No diagnosis necessary.
The easiest way to book an appointment is to book directly online. If you have questions, schedule a free consult call. It will give you a chance to get to know me, and explore your questions without any commitment.
Initial nutrition consultation sessions are 75 to 90 minutes. With your permission, we'll explore your relationship to food, body, and movement. I will also ask about medical and mental health histories, digestive health, sleep, and more to get a broad understanding of what is going on. We'll spend time discussing your short and long term goals for our work together. I'll provide my first impressions, and together we'll create a roadmap for change.
Follow-up sessions are 55 minutes and typically occur weekly, however frequency can vary. I spend the first few sessions really getting to know you, and in subsequent sessions we'll dive deeper to learn more about what underpins your eating concerns. We might add eating structure if needed, explore skill-building, try some experiential exercises, or talk body image and diet culture. With permission, I'll integrate weight-neutral medical nutrition therapy into the counseling process. These sessions lay the groundwork for lasting recovery and build resilience so you can truly come home to yourself.
If you are working with other medical or mental health providers, I will contact them between sessions to ensure seamless and consistent care.
